Just Unveiled: 2015 Hot Wheels '70 Chevelle SS...

We are very happy to see this model continue its mainline run for the third year in a row.

As we have documented before, we leave most of the Hot Wheels Chevelles on the pegs, with two exceptions: the '70 Chevelle Wagon and Jun Imai's '70 Chevelle SS.  The Wagon because, well, it's a Wagon, and the SS for its unique Trans Am-meets-Japan design.

And boy the SS has looked good.  Gulf, Edelbrook, Summit, as a Super, and as a Zamac.

It's had a good run, and that run continues into 2015:

It appears this is the first version without a licensed racing livery, but this one has a definite Trans Am feel to it.  In fact, it kind of reminds us of Dan Gurney's AAR Cuda.

Whatever it looks like, we like it.  Do you?
